About the Event:
Westfield North County is kicking off the back-to-school season with its FREE, family-friendly ‘Unlock the
Fun’ fashion event. Teens and tweens will “unlock” the hot styles and trends
for the new school year. Four ‘Unlock the Fun’ stations will be located
throughout the shopping mall:
  •  
    Ask A Stylist– San
    Diego-based style expert, Jennifer
    Rosson    , founder/owner of Style
    Your Life     will be on-hand to offer styling tips and to share the hottest
    back-to-school trends for tweens and teens. (Located at: Level 2, near Nordstrom) Jennifer is one of the elite Stylists
    For Hire     hand-picked
    by “What Not To Wear’s” Stacy London.
  •      Braid
    Bar & Nail Art    : Bellus Academy will host a Braid Bar offering
    back-to-school worthy “do’s” and mini-manis complete with colorful nail art.
    (Located at: Level 1, Target court)
  •      Mini-Makeovers: Make-up
    artists from leading UK-based cult brand Boots Cosmetics, available at Target,
    will be giving shoppers glam mini-makeovers. They will share expert beauty and
    skincare tips. (Located at: Level 1,
    Target court)
  •      Locker
    Installation    : Daily from Thursday, August 22nd to Sunday, August
    25,th during mall hours. Shoppers at WNC can text to receive a
    combination that may unlock one of five colorful, oversized, interactive lockers
    featuring fabulous prizes including: an iPad Mini, gift cards and concert
    tickets to some of the hottest acts in music today. (Located at: Level 1, center court)

Eligibility:
Open to greater San Diego area residents 18+ years of age.
Timing:
Contest is announced/begins on Monday, August 5th, 2013 and is to
conclude by Sunday, August 18th at 12:00 midnight. Winner, chosen at
random, is to be announced by Monday, August 19th.

10 Favorite Picks: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hello loves! I have been having a great time shopping the Anniversary Sale for my clients as well as for myself.
After many hours, I have selected my 10 Fall favorites from the sale. Some are very practical. A few of my picks are trend-based to help you be au courant without looking like a fashion victim.
1.Zella Leggings-I love lululemon and Zella is the closest I have found to Lulu (and at a better price.)
Even better is the Anniversary Sale price!  
2.Joe’s Coated Denim-If you learn one thing from me this fall it should be that leather is HUGE. 
Living in San Diego, or being a stay at home mom, leather is not so practical! 
This is an amazing way to get the look of leather without the heat or the price tag. 
If you buy one trend for fall you can’t go wrong with leather! 
3.Knit Blazer-A fall staple, this jacket is a great cut with figure flattering feminine lines and it stretches! 
4. Leather Jacket-Yes again with leather! Leather jackets are a safe bet, and I love the feminine modern cut and the quilting on this jacket! Be sure to check out the back!
5.A Wrap Dress-This is a faux wrap, but same idea. A wrap dress is universally flattering and timeless everyone of you should own a wrap dress. 
6.A Black Boot-I love the modern wedge and the slender, more sexy, calf. 
7.Pony Skin Heel-Talk about sexy, this heel silhouette is gorgeous modern and will make your outfit!
8.Studded Heel-Inspired by Valentino, this version is much more affordable and  it still shows you are pretty hip! 
9.Chantelle– My favorite bra line, love getting it on sale! This bra is also convertible which makes it incredibly versatile. 
My clients hear this all the time… a bra that fits you properly (especially if you are busty) can do SOOOO much for you! If you are busty and only buy one new piece of clothing this year, it should be a bra. But you HAVE to get fitted first, and not by a teenager paid minimum wage.
Stores like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Intimacy have free professional fittings with trained staff.
Trust me I can go on and on on this topic. If you haven’t been fitted in the last year, please go do it. 
You will thank me! 
10.Natori Briefs-When I interviewed with Stacy London’s Company last spring we had a lovely speaker from Natori and the company gifted us each a pair of these briefs. 
I swear to you they are my favorite, best fitting, comfiest briefs.
This might possibly be the longest post I have ever written! 
But, it is full of gems. I hope you learned something!
