Hey there guys sorry I missed my post yesterday.
I was having so much fun with my family I never got to my computer!

Two quick Vegas fashion observations:

#1 There are a lot of stores with very embellished, and bedazzled clothes!
I suspect there is a lot of buyers remorse when it comes to these articles of clothing ;>)

#2 If you can’t walk in super high heels don’t wear them.
I have seen a lot of poor ladies that can’t barely walk in their shoes.
It looks much better to wear a slightly shorter heel if it will enable you to walk with grace.

I am glad to know there are girls like me out there that could use some inspiration.  I put together 3 outfits that go together that could be packed for a weekend away, or to the in-laws for Christmas.  They can also be worn individually….and are perfect for a holiday party!

I LOVE these Old Navy Plus jeans.
I know it’s kind of hit and miss ordering from Oldnavy.com but these are a HIT!
They look and feel like premium jeans but they have stretch and those cute sequins on the pocket.  They are the perfect length for flats or 1 inch boot.

I tend to LOVE ruffles..on other people.  On me, not so much.  This shirt is so cute though, it camouflages your tummy.  And it doesn’t look like a maternity shirt.

Hi there! I’m Rory from Princess Escapades. I have been a follower of Jennifer since the beginning,
I think.
I love her style and wish I lived just a few states closer to California so we could be real-life friends instead of just bloggy friends.
I am a stay at home mom of 2 little girls. They are the best! And they keep me busy.
My husband travels a lot, so there aren’t many moments in my life that don’t include 2 little helpers.

Needless to say, I don’t have occasion to dress up much.
(Most days I don’t have occasion to get out of sweatpants, but that’s another story!)
I am an average gal. These days, according to statistics, that means size 14 or larger.
Until I lose the baby weight, I am going to have to learn how to dress to flatter these curves and stop trying to hide them.
(Or smash them under 2 layers of Spanx.)
I hate the mall.
I hate dressing rooms.
I hate getting in dressing rooms and realizing what size I really wear in jeans.
Mostly, I hate the selection of cute clothes out there for 20/30-something year old gals like me.

What I’m wearing to Thanksgiving dinner:

This dress is truly magical. When I put it on, I swear I looked like I lost 15 pounds.
The cowl is just low enough to be flattering (yet still lays mostly flat), the skirt is just A-Line enough not to skim your booty, and the fabric is so comfortable.
It’s from Avenue.com which is a great online source (they have brick and mortars too, but not here.)

Wide calf boots. This isn’t just a larger gal problem, athletic gals have issues trying to get boots to fit their calves, too. Avenue has great, super comfy boots for calves up to 20″!
Pair them with some cute tights and you are ready to go!

Two more things you should know about me?
I’m a sucker for turquoise bracelets and leopard print shoes/bags.

The biggest splurge here is the jewelry, which you probably already own!
