   Okay so I'm 5'1" and curvy, would stripes REALLY work for me?

   Yes you can do THIN stripes!!
   Just stay away from wide stripes.
   You can also do vertical stripes as they will elongate. For example you know on the front of some pants there is a skinny little tuck sewn down the front of the leg? Those pants will make your legs look longer!
