I first discovered Jennifer and her amazing Style Your Life blog after seeing Centsational Girl’s guest post on travel. I instantly bookmarked the site so I can access it daily…sometime several times a day…for great inspiration. Jennifer has great ideas and I totally appreciate that all of the outfits are easy to my pocketbook too.
I was beyond excited to read her post on the new Tween/Teen Style venture with her own tween. I thought it was a brilliant idea and wasted no time letting Jennifer know!
I also have tween…a redheaded beauty who is developing her very own sense of style. I love that she already knows what she likes…and what she doesn’t. We’ve moved away from the cute ruffles and bows, and the graphic peace signs t-shirts to a more feminine and hip wardrobe.
I will confess that I find it very difficult finding clothes that are age appropriate yet stylish and fun. I see way too many shorter-than-shorts and tank top these days.
Thankfully she wears a uniform to school so I don’t have that struggle most mom’s face but our weekends are jam packed with activities. I want her to feel comfortable in her clothes while developing the maturity to pick the right clothes for the right occasion.
When Jennifer asked my daughter and I to come up with a few outfits, we were giddy with excitement. We sat down together, talked about what she wanted come up with, and just went with it.
These are her styles…head to toe…and she is so excited to share her ideas with you. One of the outfits was ordered immediately…I’ll let you take a guess which one!
Thank you Jennifer for letting us be apart of your new adventure! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Tween/Teen Style…we will certainly share it with our friends here in Texas!
Xoxo,
