    I always recommend Daphne du Maurier's "Rebecca". It's one of my favorite books, and a great read for heading into the fall.

  6. Hello! Great look! I see Rebecca mentioned. One of my all time favorites. If you want a light read – Cranberry Queen by Kathleen Demarco. Since you are coming back to Michigan you could go with The True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters by Elisabeth Robinson. Sad but good. Then – The Glass Castle – loved it! Dysfunctional family stuff! Oh – I'm just about to start a book called One Day. I think it follows two people over 20 years and each chapter is one day of each year in their lives.

  8. The Help was great. Also the series that starts with The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo is good. If you're an Elizabeth Berg fan (I am!) her latest, The last time I Saw You was very good (I listened to it on my IPod.)
